What happens to your camera data during a 30 Second Vitals scan?

How camera access, scan results and account information fit together.

Camera permission and processing

Your browser or phone asks for permission before the camera can be used. The live scan needs a short video stream so measurement technology can analyse pulse-related changes. Your saved results are measurement outputs, not a photograph displayed to other users. You can manage camera permission in your browser settings.

What the account may store

To deliver results and build trends, the service may store account details, consent records, scan time, measurement outputs, quality information, country and subscription status. If you choose WhatsApp or email delivery, the relevant contact channel and delivery records may also be processed.

Service messages about your account and optional marketing serve different purposes.

Providers, retention and control

Read our privacy notice for information about your account and scan data. For questions about providers, processing locations or retention, or to request access, correction or deletion, contact contact@mylocalsurgery.co.uk.

Keep the result in contextEducational information only. Do not use a camera estimate to diagnose a condition, change treatment or decide whether urgent symptoms are safe.
