Information used by the service
- Account and contact details, including email and optional mobile number.
- Age or date-of-birth information, country and eligibility responses.
- Consent and communication preferences.
- Scan outputs, timestamps, quality information and trend history.
- Subscription, payment status and referral attribution. Card details will be handled by the payment provider rather than stored by us.
- Technical and security information needed to operate and protect the service.
Camera information
The live scan requires camera access. The scan uses a live camera stream to estimate selected vital signs. Your account stores scan outputs and timing information to show results and trends. Camera access does not give other users access to your camera.
Why information is used
We use information for creating and securing an account, providing requested results, building trends, managing subscriptions, delivering service messages, responding to support requests, preventing misuse and improving safety. Optional marketing is separate from the service messages needed for your account.
Sharing, transfers and retention
The service uses specialist providers for measurement, hosting, payments and messaging. Contact us for questions about processing locations, retention or a particular provider. You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal information at contact@mylocalsurgery.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request. You can also raise a concern with your local data-protection authority; in the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office. Health results are not included in social sharing messages.
